We are seeking a motivated and versatile Clinical Technician 2 to join our Float Pool, providing support across various departments and units within Inova Fairfax Hospital.

This position offers a dynamic work environment where you will have the opportunity to gain experience in different clinical settings and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The Clinical Technician 2 Float provides direct care to patients whose care requirements are routine and standardized, with predictable outcomes, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Maintains competencies and seek opportunities to develop professionally. Communicates effectively and work cooperatively with others Serves as a unit preceptor and superuser for all new Clinical Technicians.

**Job Responsibilities

Provides direct care to patients whose care requirements are routine and standardized, with predictable outcomes, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse
Effectively communicates with health team members, patients and families; Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others.
Assists unit leadership with overseeing other unit Clinical Technician education records.
Has respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines.
Maintains competencies and seeks opportunities to develop professionally.
Identifies own learning needs based on selfevaluation and the progress made from the previous year's goals.
Assumes responsibility for selfdevelopment in life long learning and seeks opportunities to further increase practice knowledge. May perform additional duties as assigned.
