"Rückenwind is a social pedagogical institution for children, adolescents, and families.

The services offered by Rückenwind currently include:

flexible day groups, a residential group for unaccompanied minors (UMA), a cooperative project for a UMA residential group with two other organizations (youth welfare/integration assistance), and outpatient services.

Rückenwind provides assistance for education according to the Child and Youth Services Act (SGB VIII). The target groups are children, adolescents, and their parents in challenging life and educational situations, which require individual support.

Rückenwind is a member of the Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband.


Depending on your place of residence, you will work as an apprentice in the day group team in Friedrichshafen or in the Überlingen area with eight to ten children who temporarily require social pedagogical support.

A class B driver's license is advantageous.

Your tasks may include, for example:

  • Accompanying and supporting individual children with homework
  • Participating in leisure activities
  • Performing household tasks
  • Guiding children in situations of social learning
  • Possibly picking up and dropping off children

Requirements:

  • Secondary school diploma
  • Interest in meaningful work with children and adolescents
  • If possible, a class B driver's license
