FLAG Solutions is hiring a furniture painter for a renowned home staging and interior design company located in South Gate.

Shift: 1st shift


Pay rate:
$20/hr


Must have knowledge of spray painting and mixing paint colors. Must have experience painting wooden furniture.
The Furniture Repair/Refinisher Tech is responsible for ensuring furniture is in ready to rent condition.

This may include small repairs such as scratches and larger repair such as fixing broken legs and refinishing damaged or worn finishes.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Determine when product needs to be repaired or refinished
  • Move furniture to repair areas
  • Repair and refinish all designated furniture
  • Record all items repaired on the repair shop spreadsheet and submit to the DC Operations Manager daily
  • Make sure furniture is in ready to rent condition before going out for a delivery.
  • Maintains organization of materials and furniture as well as cleanliness of work areas in the distribution center
  • Maintain operation and maintenance of spray booth as directed by DC Ops Manager
  • Conduct monthly inventory off supplied needed in repair area
  • Wear all personal protective equipment and keep all hazardous materials locked at the end of each day
  • Ensure all safety requirements are met and maintained Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

Must know how to spray paint furniture.
Must know how to mix paint.
Ability to move up to 100 lbs. of furniture with of refinishing techniques and supplied.

Ability to work in warehouse hot and cold temperatures.

Ability to carry, lift, crouch, pull and walk as part of regular work day.

Knowledge of proper furniture moving techniques and uses them daily


Pay:
$22.19 per hour
