Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Outreach & Education Coordinator to join our team.

As an Outreach Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in promoting our organization's mission and services to the community, focusing on sexual, reproductive and gender affirming health services.

You will be responsible for coordinating community outreach activities, and delivering community education covering EHC services and sexual health topics, such as gender & sexuality, consent, contraception, STI's & HIV.


Responsibilities:


  • Serve as a community liaison for EHC. The "public face" of our health center.
  • Keep accurate, current monthly records of all education and outreach activities.
  • Initiate, develop and maintain relationships with other community agencies and groups.
  • Attend and participate in local community events as needed including: health fairs, fundraisers, speaking at schools and community gatherings, tabling at events such as Prides and Market Days and collaborate with other agencies during events.
  • Create educational and promotional materials such as pamphlets, flyers, newsletters.
  • Reports to Patient/Public Engagement Coordinator

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., communications, social work, public health) with 4 years experience preferred. Years of experience can be substituted for educational requirement.
  • Commitment and passion for sexual, reproductive and genderaffirming health care.
  • Self motivated, resourceful and creative.
  • Excellent computer skills; experience with Canva/basic graphic design preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a diverse team
