    Leidos Digital Modernization Sector has an opening for a Network and Voice Administrator in support of the AFOSR contract located at Arlington, VA.

    The Digital Modernization Sector is focused on delivering performance-based IT services and repeatable solutions to include applying cloud-factory and aaS (as a Service) capabilities and integrating commercial products to provide a comprehensive digital engineering approach to IT transformation.

    The selected candidate will work onsite with a team of network administrators / system administrators in a collaborative effort in implement, maintain, monitor and troubleshoots systems in accordance with organizational and/or DoD network policies, procedures, and standards. The candidate will be required to report progress to site lead and stakeholders via Remedy ticketing system and/or Weekly reports.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Deploy, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot telecommunications equipment and network to include but not limited to: Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity voicemail, Voice Gateways, Cisco router/switch, Cisco ISE and Cisco Telepresence.
    • Resolve Tier I and II hardware, software and application issues (printer, basic network (LAN), scheduling & troubleshooting video tele-conferences (VTCs).
    • Troubleshoot problems using scripts and standard, routine procedures; escalates as appropriate.
    • Maintain required security posture on all network equipment in accordance with DoD and local command mandates and requirements, including updates, STIGs, IOS upgrades, and other basic network security requirements.
    • Provide Tier 2 support for Windows infrastructure.
    • Provide Tier 2 support for VMware infrastructure.
    • Support special projects and day-to-day operations as needed or assigned by the site lead.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience, additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • U.S. citizenship with a current DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain interim Top Secret clearance.
    • Active 8570 IAT II (or higher) Baseline Certification, such as: Security+ ce, CySA+ * Experience working in a DOD environment.
    • Understanding Cisco networking technologies and configuration; be able to document the network (such as with Visio)
    • Working knowledge of Active Directory Users & Computers, security groups and NTFS permissions, Cisco network/LAN principles, MS Windows 10, MS Office, desktop & laptop hardware, etc.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Specific AFOSR experience is highly desired to enable a smooth transition for the customer.
    • Former DoD experience ideally Air Force this aligns with the customer.
    • Ability to obtain Cisco CCNA Certification (Routing and Switching), CCNA Collaboration within six months of hire.
    • Experience with Virtualization technologies, including VMWare ESX, and VMWare Server.

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $48, $86,950.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
