Project Coordinator Oil and Gas**
Department: Operations
**Reports to: Division Manager
FLSA:
Non-Exempt
PURPOSE:
The primary duties will be to assist the Division Manager, Superintendents, Project Managers, and Estimators with daily operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Input, log, and update project spreadsheets.
- Photocopy documents, as required. Process incoming and outgoing mail, sort for departments. Distribute and / or handle items not requiring executive's attention.
- Take notes on, but not limited to, meeting minutes, processes for job duties and instructions.
- Ability to stay organized especially with spreadsheets and files.
- Communicate effectively with team.
- Take on different tasks when needed.
- Follow both written and verbal instructions /references.
- Follow stepbystep procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Required high school Diploma and / or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience with research responsibilities, which would provide the applicant with desired skills and knowledge required to perform the job.
SKILLS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to accurately type at 65wpm and maintain confidentiality of work items at all times.
- Ability to be friendly, courteous, tactful and maintain composure in dealing with customers and coworkers.
- Must possess good communication, organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Manual dexterity and eyehand coordination are necessary.
- Mental alertness is necessary to ensure accurate and thorough completion of work activities.
- Requires the ability to sit for prolonged periods and the ability to operate related equipment such as computer, calculator, copier, fax machine, etc.
