We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our dynamic team as an Assistant to the Creative Director / Head Fashion Designer.
Position Overview:
As the Creative Director / Head Fashion Designer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Creative Director and design team in all aspects of the fashion design process.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Creative Director and Head Fashion Designer in the development and execution of seasonal collections.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform design concepts and ideas.
- Manage and organize detailed design sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards.
- Coordinate fabric sourcing, sample making, and fittings with internal teams and external vendors.
- Prepare and coordinate samples for collection handover and presentations.
- Prepare presentation materials for internal reviews and client meetings.
- Maintain organization of the design studio, including inventory of materials and samples.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, fittings, and photoshoots.
- Handle administrative tasks such as managing calendars, travel arrangements, and correspondence.
- Support in the production of events, lookbooks, and marketing campaigns.
- Inhouse content creation and graphic design for visual line sheets, social media, marketing materials, and other digital assets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms and the company website.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in a similar role within the fashion industry.
- Strong design and technical skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
- Experience in content creation and graphic design for fashion line sheets, social media, and digital marketing.
- Passion for fashion and a deep understanding of current trends and market demands.
Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour
