The Manager, Global Education and Artistry is responsible for developing and managing the ongoing education and artistry content to support global markets, internal staff and external partners.
This role will be responsible for leveraging instructional design, eLearning development, project management and creative skills to deliver engaging and effective training programs that drive sales.
This position will collaborate closely with key stakeholders including Global Marketing, Product Development, US and International Education and Marketing, as well as cross-branded counterparts to develop cohesive and best-in-class educational and artistry content.
Position reports to the Executive Director, Global Education and Artistry.Primary Responsibilities
- Work closely with Executive Director, Global Education and Artistry, Product Development and Global Marketing to understand new product launches/positioning of new products within brand and develop programs and materials to support in training and at point of sale.
- Partner with Executive Director, Global Education and Artistry to create elevated programs that develop product knowledge, artistry skills, and selling and service skills.
- Manage and develop all content in partnership with crossfunctional departments to deliver training that educates, inspires, and drives sales.
- Manage updates for evergreen content and new launches in support of key business strategies.
- Manage the coordination, planning, and execution of all global and market driven training events.
- Manage department communication memos and release cadence.
- Manage the development and update of presentations, print/digital materials, and eLearning content.
- Support the execution of ad hoc content requests from crossfunctional and internal departments.
- Support new launches with key education and business strategies.
- Oversee eLearning platforms for bareMinerals and Buxom: system, uploading, monitoring engagement and retention, supporting the development of global and market content as needed.
- Partner with Creative, agencies, and freelancers for content design needs for more interactive and impactful learning while managing relationships and timelines.
- Drive acceleration of eLearning video content, including identifying key areas of need, developing scripts, and partnering with Creative on production or internal/external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Previous beauty experience preferred
- Minimum 5 years' experience in education and/or content development preferred
- Must be proficient in the Adobedesign Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
- Adobe InDesign skills
- Photoshop skills
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and be highly organized
- Energetic, selfmotivated, results oriented with exceptional planning and time management skills
- Flexible and adaptable in a fastpaced and evolving work environment
- Facilitation skills not mandatory, but a plus
