    Title: QA Analyst Sr (TRAIN/RAIL/TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS)

    Location: Washington, District of Columbia 20001

    Duration: 04+ Months (Possible Extension)

    Note:

    Job Description:

    • The Sr. Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will work on multiple programs/systems simultaneously for the Safety & Security Team.
    • The Sr. QA Analyst will interact with all members of the project team including architects, business analysts, system analysts, project managers, developers, and quality control leadership.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review and map all business, functional and technical requirements to test cases, test plans and test results.
    • Create formal test plans and document test results.
    • Review project deliverables and produce compliance checklists.
    • Monitor, evaluate and makes recommendations on QA related tasks.
    • Coordinate and oversee testing activities with external development teams.
    • Produce QA Root Cause Analysis document following problem investigation.
    • Communicate and escalate testing results to project/program leadership.
    • Maintain working knowledge of quality standards.
    • Develop and perform quality test processes.
    • Make recommendations for repairing defects.
    • Participates in bi-weekly meetings with IT department.
    • Document testing protocols.
    • Assure accuracy of programs prior to deployment to a production environment
    • Troubleshoot testing failures.

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field
    • Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in software testing
    • Demonstrated track record of effective problem-solving required.
    • Strong oral and verbal communication skills required.
