    Description

    We are looking for a seasoned and result driven Growth Sales Representative to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving revenue and expanding our market presence. He/ She will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building, and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.

    Job Description/Responsibilities

    • Achieves sales goals and executes sales plans within an assigned sales territory and/or account with new or existing business.
    • Responsible for securing and maintaining distribution of products and/or services, providing pricing, negotiating, and maintaining effective sales agreements.
    • Creates, monitors, and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
    • Satisfies existing customer needs and expands existing business by fostering and maintaining customer relationships.
    • Coordinates with the design department on the customer's behalf to improve existing design and develop new designs.
    • Reviews opportunities and problems, and the efficiency of existing procedures with sales manager and recommends opportunities for improvements.
    • Responsible for overall account management, which may include recordkeeping, credit applications, forecasts, budgets, and credit collections from delinquent accounts.
    • Contact and qualify potential customers.
    • Engage in new business development through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
    • Travel throughout the assigned territory to solicit orders and maintain excellent customer service.
    • Prepare periodic sales reports, demonstrating sales volume and potential sales.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    Base salary Year 1 of $75K to $85K plus commissions in order to build up book of business. Fully commissioned salary in Year 2 of $125,000 to $175,000 based on expected sales.

    Comprehensive benefits package, including health/vision/dental, life insurance, and long/short-term disability.

    Company-provided laptop.

    Expense reimbursement for business-related expenditures.

    Requirements and skills

    • 5-7 years of experience in corrugated box sales, familiarity with various coatings and board grades.
    • Demonstrated success at sourcing and closing new accounts. This position will be expected to deliver revenue growth.
    • Travel as needed up to 35% of work week.
    • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients.
    • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
    • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
    • Time management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
    • A desire to learn and grow in the sales field.
    • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
