Your responsibilities:

  • Independent processing and coordination of research projects as well as presentation of results internally and externally (e.g. to industrial partners, at national and international conferences, in scientific journals)
  • Development of simulation methods and calculation procedures
  • Design of suitable test setups and supervision of test bench experiments
  • Conducting calculations, evaluating simulation results, and comparing them with measurement results
  • Supervision of exercises and tutorials in teaching (e.g. lecture "Machine Elements")
  • Possibility for promotion

Our requirements:

  • Above-average degree from a university (preferably in engineering or engineering informatics or a comparable field)
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, and machine elements
  • Excellent English skills
  • Good German skills
  • Independent, results-oriented, and team-oriented work style
  • Programming experience is an advantage
  • FE knowledge (ideally in ANSYS or ABAQUS) is an advantage
  • MKS knowledge (ideally in ADAMS or SIMPACK) is an advantage
