"For our therapeutic children and youth home in Purk, located in Cherry Grove, WA, we are looking for a "Chaos Tamer" to join our team.

In our home, we provide care for children and adolescents aged 4-18 in an external living group. In a family-like environment, the children and youth we care for find a safe and nurturing place.


We are currently seeking a
social pedagogue / special education teacher / educator / special needs caregiver (m, w, d) for our therapeutic external living group.


What we expect from you:

  • You possess a high level of reliability, flexibility, and commitment, and are able to handle conflicts, teach the basics, and cook spaghetti with tomato sauce all at the same time.
  • You engage in close relationships with our children and youth, not just on paper, but also through activities such as holiday trips and campfire evenings. You stand by them through thick and thin, even during difficult times.
  • You handle stress well and remain calm when things get tough.

Your profile:

  • A completed degree in social pedagogy / special education (Bachelor's or Master's) or a completed training as an educator / special needs caregiver.
  • Previous experience in child and youth welfare would be great, but newcomers are also welcome.
