Part-time Telemarketer - Poway, United States - Moore & Associates
Description
Leading records storage management company has an immediate need for a PT Telemarketer.
The work schedule is part-time, minimum 20 hours per week (5 days per week, 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday) flexible work schedule between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The requirements listed below, but not limited to, are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Sales duties:
- Conduct high volume phone calls daily to identify qualify leads through cold calling.
- Coordinate sales lead efforts with Sales Manager for maximum sales return.
- Listen to customer's needs and make appropriate recommendations.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Escalate customer's needs to sales team or to manager/ supervisor.
- Provide management with information on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Activities:
- Attend and participate in weekly team sales training meetings.
- May participate in special projects and perform other duties as required, such as assisting with virtual sales presentations.
- Provide reports on telemarketing sales activities in all market areas.

- Exceptional problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multi-task and able to meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates. Capability of effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical ability.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Ability to handle and safeguard sensitive and confidential information.
- Highly motivated, result-driven to actively seek out and engage with customer prospects.
- Ability to follow up, follow through, keep tracks of sales calls in CRM.
- Conduct cold calling skills in a professional manner.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Understanding relevant software systems such as SalesForce, O'Neil and EZ-Shred.
- Proficient and experienced in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year related experience in Sales, Retail, or Customer Service.
