Overview:


Under direct supervision, serves as a primary point-of-contact for intake related services to associates, participants, funding sources, billing department, and regional centers.

Provides customer support to participants and their families who are receiving services. Maintains accurate participant information in databases for scheduling of treatment and billing of autism services.

Pay Range:
$22 - $23 per hour


Responsibilities:


  • Maintains frequent professional and courteous communications with ESSC associates, funding sources, participants and their families, and other contacts; accurately relays messages as needed. Responds to reports, issues, and billing inquiries from funding sources, as well as inquiries from the Regional Center. Sends out participant termination notifications to appropriate parties and provides status updates for missing authorizations when needed.
  • Manages data and documents correspondence; uploads reports, welcome packets and other related documentation in a computerbased records keeping system as outlined in TaskList. Uploads daily participant authorizations received by funding sources. Maintains monthly Medi-Cal list and sends to appropriate parties.
  • Reviews and corrects reports as directed to ensure hygiene of data entry in practice management systems. Compiles intake data and sends to management on a monthly basis. Tracks missing authorization issues & follows up with Kaiser Permanente (KP) as needed.
  • Attends staff meetings, trainings, inservices, and other meetings as requested. Assists with the orientation and cross training of new Intake Coordinators.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or national equivalent and 1 to 2 years' customer service and/or administrative support experience is required.
  • Ability to maintain positive customer service interaction, and a high degree of professionalism.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written skills, and work cooperatively with a variety of individuals and groups.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation per Easterseals of Southern California and/or program requirements.
