- assist veterinary technicians in caring for patients by providing gentle restraint for medical treatments, walking hospitalized and surgery patients, and maintaining clean accommodations for them
- clean and sterilize surgical instruments and assist in maintaining cleanliness of treatment areas and surgery and dental suites
- perform housekeeping tasks around the hospital including laundry and general cleaning
- bathe dogs as needed
- ensure the safety and comfort of all animals on the premises

LePar Animal Hospital is a well-established & modern 9 doctor practice offering alternative services in addition to progressive conventional medicine. We have a modest boarding facility so that we can provide care for our patients while their families are away.

About You
We are looking for a gentle and compassionate hospital assistant with a mature demeanor and passion for working with animals to join our team at our animal hospital in Evergreen Park. Although qualified candidates will have some dog and cat handling experience, experience working in an animal hospital or shelter are pluses but not required, as we are more than happy to train and support the right candidate
About This Role
Available hours include 7am - 2pm Mon-Sat, 4pm until about 8pm Mon-Fri, and 4pm until around 7pm on Saturdays. Sundays we are closed.
