- Greet and assist customers who enter the dealership
- Understand and demonstrate the features and benefits of all vehicles on the lot
- Conduct test drives with potential customers
- Manage a database of leads and follow up with potential customers
- Negotiate sales prices, including tradein values, with customers
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and timely, following dealership procedures
- Collaborate with the finance team to arrange financing and payment options for customers
- Stay up to date on product knowledge, manufacturer incentives, and competitor models
- Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals set by the dealership
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong negotiation and sales skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment
- Proficient in computer skills and ability to learn dealership's CRM system
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

Job DescriptionJob Summary:
The Sales Consultant at James Chevrolet will be responsible for selling new and used cars, trucks, and SUVs to customers in Johnstown, New York.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary/commission between
$40,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience and performance. The salary/commission will be paid biweekly.
In addition to the salary, the Sales Consultant will also receive a benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and vacation time.
