About us:

Western Los Angeles Dental Society (WLADS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to uniting and serving the members of WLADS for the purpose of providing professional development and promoting optimal oral health in the community.


Responsibilities:
As the Membership Coordinator/Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth operation of WLADS.

This position's focus is on activities related to society members; including but not limited to:

membership (new, returning, recruitment), continuing education, and other social/networking events as well as fulfilling day-to-day office activities such as answering phones, collecting, and sharing the mail, keeping track of office maintenance and supplies.

Works closely with the Executive Director.


Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Maintains all membership records in database.
  • Manages event support and coordination.
  • Updates bills, deposits, transactions, etc. in real time.
  • Documents member updates via reports, compliance, etc.
  • When approved, completes electronic payments via the bank and documents deposits, etc. appropriately in systems.
  • Manages and updates website and social media.
  • Maintains various databases and lists.

Events

  • Processes and organizes registration and event summaries.
  • Manages Member Outreach for events.
  • Staffs virtual and in-person events based on need.
  • Supports vendors, CE (event), magazine/newsletter, advertising, sponsorship, etc.

Office

  • Answers phones*Tracks calls*Manages vendor needs, i.e. maintenance.
  • Manages supplies*Completes other duties as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, CompPlus, and other databases.


Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university; and/or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

$ $25.00 per hour
