Description

The Federal Chamber of Notaries is a public corporation based in Berlin.

It represents German notaries nationally and internationally, participates in legislative processes and the development of national professional law, provides training for notaries, and develops and operates complex systems in the field of electronic legal transactions, such as the XNotar system and the Notarnetz.

In addition, the Federal Chamber of Notaries maintains other institutions for German notaries, including the Central Care Register, the Central Will Register, and the Certification Authority.

Currently, the Electronic Deed Archive for all German notaries is also under construction.
