Home Care Registered Nurse

Inspired Homecare is in search of a compassionate and patient home health nurse to provide medication and maintain detailed progress reports on patients.

A home health nurse plays a crucial role in collaborating with healthcare colleagues to develop treatment plans, ensuring patients adhere to these plans, and keeping track of vital signs.

Responsibilities as a Home Health Nurse:

  • Assess patients' well-being during each visit and document your findings
  • Conduct assessments such as vital sign checks, medication reviews, Oasis evaluations, wound care, and IV therapy
  • Dress and monitor the progress of healing of wounds
  • Educate patients and families on appropriate home healthcare methods and procedures
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, Physicians, and other professionals involved in the patient's treatment
  • Suggest devices or techniques that could enhance the patient's quality of life
  • Listen attentively to patients and address their concerns or requests

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in the appropriate state
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in in-home care
  • Outstanding communication and time management abilities
  • Display compassion and a welcoming attitude
  • Willingness to travel to multiple patient locations daily
  • Proficiency in using Home Care Home Base software is a plus
  • Preferably vaccinated against COVID-19
