Description

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as companionship, meal preparation, grooming, and light housekeeping
• Medications reminders according to prescribed schedules and document medication administration
• Assist client with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or mental health status
• Ensure resident rights are respected and upheld at all times
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed
• Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
• Provide specialized care for client with dementia or memory care needs

• Previous experience in inhome care/assisted living or a similar caregiving role is preferred
• Knowledge of social work principles and practices is a plus
• Familiarity with medication administration procedures is desired
• Familiarity with transferring patients
• Understanding of resident rights and the importance of maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism
