Midwest Dental Sleep Center is a busy multi-site family owned Dental Sleep practice in the south west suburbs of Chicago.
We care for patients who have been diagnosed with a sleep breathing disorder.We are seeking a back of the house Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in the Homer Glen office.
This individual is a passionate and bright individual who will ensure patient satisfaction and the coordination of patient appointments and other administrative duties such as insurance verification, medical records requests, prior-authorization and more The Patient Care Coordinator must be fully engaged in the accuracy, timeliness, and overall workflow to support the delivery of quality patient care.
They must have great attention to detail and drive to be proactive, as well as have exceptional communication skills for interacting with patients, co-workers, referring provider offices and insurance providers.
The Patient Care Coordinator position is responsible for but not limited to:- Scheduling new patient appointments.
- Answer phones, offer triage, and reschedule visits.
- Correspond with referring providers.
- Review medical benefits.
- Look ahead at the schedule and proactively fill cancelled or rescheduled appointments.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Promotes and practices excellent customer service.
- Ensures patient satisfaction, including trying to problem solve patient complaints as appropriate.
- Works as a team with the other staff across the organization to ensure patient satisfaction and timeliness.
- Identifies and clearly communicates to leadership any issues as needed.
- Contributes to the achievement of the practice's goals.

Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour
