    Automation Design Engineer


    Location:
    Irvine, CA


    Job Description:
    3+ years of medical device industry experience in Automation and/or project engineering


    Must Have Technical/Functional Skills


    • Experience in electromechanical equipme nt/machine design or Automation design.
    • pply electrical, electronic, computer and mechanical principles to components and systems including design, assembly, and analysis.
    • Extensive experience in Solidworks design, create concepts to final design.
    • Experience in working with Control systems, Actuators, and robotics.
    • Develop and apply key problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve basic-to-complex issues in critical production processes, helping the company run more efficiently.
    • Excellent Interpersonal / communication skills, Organizational / planning and Project management skills preferred.
    • bility to work efficiently, meet timelines, and communicate status (generate trackers, send emails, etc.)
    • bility to read engineering drawings, GD&T, terminology, schematics.
    • In-depth knowledge of design of medical devices preferred.
