Our client is a very reputable SaaS firm that is has a mission of the greater good. They are an established firm that finds themselves in throws of the Greenfield Technology world. If you are a principal/staff level software engineer or senior level software engineer who is looking to take that next step then this could be for you. They are interested in qualified engineers who are excited to have a mission behind what they are building and creating, while also using the latest technologies to build strong product. Our analytics engine and SaaS products are second to none. Our web applications team is looking to hire a staff level engineer.

Responsibilities:

40 % of your time will be working in building out scalable and modern web UIs with Typescript, React, Figma, CSS, and other similar tools.
60% middle and back end engineering with Python (will also look at Java), APIs, AWS, Postgres, Snowflake, and heavy data driven software.
This is a lead role where we expect engineers who want to work in design and architecture as well as coding. You will also be responsible for team mentorship and code reviews.
Design and architecture of our next generation SaaS offering (looking for thinkers and executers as opposed to just doers)
Suggesting methods and alternative technologies to continue to challenge and improve current standards

Qualifications:

*8-10+ years of software engineering ideally in a product development and/or SaaS space

*5+ years of building and scaling modern UI architectures ideally w Typescript, Vue.JS, Figma, or other modern Javascript libraries

*Strong experience and mastery of some back end dev language ideally Python, but Java also ok

*7+ years of back end API, Microservices, and modern architecture

*Experience deploying and scaling software in a Cloud environment ideally AWS (Azure, GCP ok)

*10+ years of full stack sw engineering

*Bachelors Degree ideally in Computer Science or some computational science (Math, Engineering, CE)

Nice to haves;

*ETL data aggregation experience

*Experience w modern UI (Vue.JS, React, Angular) and Figma

*Docker and Kubernetes experience
