Position Details:

Job SummaryWe are seeking an Associate Director to lead our patient services team and coordinate and direct all patient experience activities within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Establishes goals and oversees the implementation of patient food services needs based on medical direction and patient population Hires, directs, coaches, trains, and develops patient service team members Complies with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within the guidelines of the diet order limitations Ensures patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals Complies with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies Participates in/ leads patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs Tracks financial incentives, penalties, and reporting as tied to patient satisfaction performance for the respective account.
Maintains and supports client satisfaction at a level that ensures account retention Administers required client/customer surveys and responds in a timely and effective manner Monitors and ensures compliance, progression, and follow-up of any patient satisfaction initiatives Assists in developing, customizing, and/or monitoring a department/unit patient satisfaction action plan to meet each account's needsPreferred Qualifications:
B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A.
Degree plus three (3) years of directly related experienceCertified Dietary Manager certificate or Registered DietitianMinimum of one (1) to three (3) years of hospital or adult home/care experience depending upon formal degree or trainingThree (3) to five (5) years of direct food service operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and controlStrong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentationPrevious P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience is desirableStrong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skillsStrong communication skills both written and verbalExcellent financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skillsProficient computer skills required to be successfulServSafe Certified Apply to Morrison Healthcare todayMorrison Healthcare is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
