Job Summary:


The primary purpose of the nurse position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents and to oversee the daily nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.

Such oversight must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our community, and as may be required by the Unit Manager or Assistant Director of Clinical Services to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.


As the unit nurse, you will oversee, provide guidance, and assist CNAs with resident cares as outline in the job description and in accordance with each resident's care plan.

The nurse will prepare and administer medications, and provide treatment as order by the physician, within scope of RN/LPN Practice.

Complete thorough documentation regarding each resident in the chart. Additionally, the nurse completes admissions and discharges, as directed by unit manager. Other duties as assigned; a full job description is available upon request and upon hire.

What it Takes:

  • Must possess, as a minimum, an RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
  • Must possess an uptodate CPR certification.
  • Two years' experience working with the elderly (preferred)
  • Completion of courses in geriatrics (preferred)
