Pennsylvania Hospital is looking for a Lab Trainee to join the Core Lab team This is a per diem opportunity.


Summary:


This is a training level position, and the trainee has the appropriate educational background to perform laboratory procedures according to established and approved protocols.

These tests are performed directly under the supervision of a technologist, or supervisor.

The trainee may perform laboratory procedures across the major areas of the laboratory or concentrate activity in one such area such as Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, or Central Specimen Processing.


Credentials:

  • Current enrollment in the School of Medical Technology Program at PAH which is a NAACLSaccredited college or university. Demonstrated knowledge of clinical lab tests and specimen test requirements.
