RCM Training Coordinator - Healthcare working at our
Central Avenue
location in Phoenix,AZ_._** Reporting to the Director of Revenue Cycle, the ideal individual is flexible, compassionate and professional.

The Systems Analyst will possess a strong understanding of the revenue cycle work-flow, be innovative, and enjoy a high level of interaction with others.

This position is responsible for developing curriculum and workflows for RCM end users in the Revenue Cycle Management departments.

This role also assists the Configuration Specialist in correctly configuring and populating the company practice management system (NextGen) in context of medical policies, reimbursement policies, clinical editing policies, regulatory requirements, and contract details.

This position reports to the Director of Revenue Cycle.

Responsibilities:


Terros Health is Hiring a RCM Training Coordinator at our Central Avenue location in Phoenix, AZ.**
(2) years' work in RCM, with at least 1 year of configuration experience.

Emphasis on System Configuration, Claims Processing, Coding and Billing

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Position is a hybrid role with three days in office and two day remote

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

No Weekends

RCM Training Coordinator Duties Include:


  • Prepares and delivers newly hired staff on the RCM team with NextGen setup and day one, in office set up of their remote PC or laptop with VMWare and other systems
  • Develops and maintains online library of policies and procedures, supporting learning tools utilized in training the staff in RCM.
  • Drafts initial training plan for the new RCM team members and provides to the supervisor or manager for approva
  • Working knowledge of billing processes, third party insurance guidelines, NextGen EPM, RCM department policies and procedures
  • Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCs and diagnosis coding.
  • Effective and polished presentation skills, training delivery skills and ability to focus on topics based on audience level of knowledge.
  • Develop and maintains an understanding of current payer and NextGen configuration rules, contracts, and policies to provide revenue cycle training in eligibility, billing, collections and payment posting
  • Assists in the development and execution of test scenarios for configuration changes
  • Assists in the accurate and timely loading of the following (including annual updates): Payor contracts, Providers, Fee schedules, Code Set Mapping, and Specialized Rules and Alerts.

Qualifications:

  • Equivalent of (2) years' work in RCM, with at least 1 year of configuration experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of managed care operations and claims billing systems required. Working knowledge of NextGen EHR/EPM platform required.
  • Experience with writing policies and procedures along with tip sheets and other helpful tools in training.
  • Understanding of industry standard code sets, government regulations as mandated by the regulatory agencies.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office experience with an emphasis on MS Excel in order to manipulate and communicate data.
