- Work in a team environment to help deliver transportation design projects.
- Perform roadway design engineering and develop plans.
- Help develop junior engineers.
- Coordinate with other design disciplines (Traffic, Structural, ITS, Geotechnical) to develop a comprehensive project design.
- Coordinate with clients, owners, stakeholders and contractors to resolve design issues.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 5+ years of related work experience. In addition, an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate may be required
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience delivering roadway design projects.
- Experience with CAD and other software associated with civil roadway design
- Ability to work independently and assume responsibility.
- Experience coordinating the work of others to meet project deadlines.
- Interest in developing project management skills.
- Experience delivering projects in Florida.
