Description

Functions of the Position:


  • Assists with all administrative duties relating to the talent acquisition process.
  • Works collaboratively with other departments including Marketing & Creative, Operations, etc. to develop job post content for social media and hiring sites.
  • Adheres to all internal talent acquisition processes and procedures.
  • Updates staffing reports and other data related spreadsheets/reporting tools.
  • Works collaboratively with and supports hiring managers in the talent acquisition life cycle.
  • Under the direction of the VP of People & Culture, modifies and edits job descriptions.
  • Continually learns about the Peabody portfolio including the unique hiring needs of each site and how these unique needs affect sourcing the "right fit" qualifications and skill requirements.
  • Provides backup to other People & Culture functions including but not limited to: People & Culture onboarding presentations, training scheduling and coordination, career fair event planning, developing relationships with external stakeholders (colleges/universities, professional associations, networking groups, etc.).
  • Attends career fairs and networking events.
  • Performs additional duties and assignments as requested.

Qualifications for the Position:


  • 13 years of HR experience or 24 years of general property management experience with a strong desire to learn about HR/talent acquisition basic principles and strategies.
  • Associate degree or Certificate in Human Resources.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
  • Proven ability to be a selfstarter.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Excellent database (Excel/HRIS) acumen.
  • Proven presentation skills (ability to build and deliver a PowerPoint presentation).
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fastpaced, constantly changing work culture.
  • Values equity and searches out diversity of thought and experience.
  • Excellent administrative, analytical, interpersonal, and people skills.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Thinks creatively and offers solutions to existing challenges.

  • Willingness to learn the ins and outs of the property management industry.
