Join our team at Rancho Murieta and help us make it happen As our new Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for cross-functional development, planning, and execution of feasibility studies for automation applications (such as cobots, AGVs, and vision systems) to create unique selling points.

You will evaluate and release results in collaboration with your team and superiors. You will also work on national and international R&D projects with internal departments, universities, institutes, and suppliers. Your role will involve scouting for new technologies (including IT aspects) for smart automation systems. You will also be responsible for developing software interfaces and system extensions (such as UR Caps or ROS2.0).

Additionally, you will roll out and secure standards with our regional Application Center for smart automation solutions (such as AC Asia Pacific and AC North America).

You will also create and implement qualification programs to empower divisional employees and share knowledge with our factories.


Be our forward thinker and bring your expertise to our team As our ideal candidate, you have a Bachelor's degree in automation engineering and several years of experience in automation, including economic knowledge with a focus on cobots, AGVs, and vision systems (both brown and green field).

You have experience with a matrix approach and a strong customer orientation in a dynamic environment. You also possess planning, safety, quality, and software skills (such as Python, Java, HTML, C++). You are willing to travel and have general knowledge
