Description
We are an Awning, Canopy and Sign company established in 1933. We fabricate and install commercial and residential structures in the Maryland, DC and Virginia.We are looking for a seamstress and or cutter to construct fabric awnings.
Experience in awning fabrication is a plus but not necessary, we will train, However applicants must know how to operate a sewing machine.
Job includes some heavy lifting and tugging but nothing excessive.Employees will also be expected to help keep plant clean and do other simple tasks that are not sewing related.
A basic knowledge of math, such as adding fractions, measuring and a little geometry is helpful as is an understanding of how cloth products are constructed.
Pay will depend on experience, ability and how quickly you learn.Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
