Finance Manager - Lynnville, IA, United States - Diamond Dynamics
Description
Work as a Finance Manager (m/f/d) at Geraer Heimbetriebsgesellschaft, the largest regional non-profit municipal company in the field of inpatient care and child and youth services in Lynnville, IA.
Your responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the financial department
- Leadership and development of the department in line with the company's growth strategy
- Strategic and operational collaboration with management and other departments
- Point of contact for all internal and external colleagues/partners and shareholders regarding financial matters
- Development of a financial planning and control system
- Professional and disciplinary responsibility for personnel
- Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and company reporting
- Main responsibility for the preparation of annual financial statements
- Creation of forecasts, medium and longterm liquidity planning/business planning, as well as adhoc analyses
- Coordination of various financial projects
- Negotiations with partners and service providers
We are looking for you if you have:
- Completed degree in business administration or comparable commercial training with additional qualifications
- Professional experience in accounting/controlling or several years of experience in a similar position, ideally in a healthcare company
- Excellent knowledge of DATEV and Excel (MS Office)
- Structured working style and analytical thinking, also with regard to process improvements
- Experience in setting up professional reporting and liquidity management systems
- Basic knowledge of contract law
