- Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of insurance plans, 401k, workers' compensation, and other employee benefits. Act as a liaison between employees and third-party benefit providers
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including updating and maintaining the employee handbook.
- Pre-Employment Processes: Coordinate pre-employment activities such as job postings, drug screenings, and background checks.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, conduct safety training, and perform safety rides and walkthroughs to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Day to Day HR Coordination: Handle daily HR activities, including coordination with employees, managing compliance paperwork, apparel orders, E-Verify, and I-9 verification.
- H2A Program Management: Oversee the H2A worker program.
- Employee Relations: Facilitate effective communication between employees and management, and address employee concerns promptly.
- Training and Development: Coordinate and deliver training programs to ensure employee compliance and development.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, with a focus on compliance, benefits, and employee relations.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements, particularly OSHA regulations.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to act as a liaison between employees and third-party benefit providers.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
