St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health is looking for a (FT/Days or Evenings) Inventory Control Clerk to join our team

Schedule:
Full-time (40 hours/week)

Shift:
Days (7:00am -3:00pm)

OR Evenings (3pm-11:30pm)

Inventory Control Clerk (OR)

Oversees all Operating Room Stock Inventory
Develops Inventory PAR Levels for OR Stock Supplies within Materials Management Information System.
Follows Protocols and Practices to facilitate supply inventory and procurement.
Reconciles, decrements, adjust inventory numbers to match supply levels and physical inventory amount, monthly within Materials Management Information System.
Restocks point of use inventory from Main OR Location
Enters supply orders into the Materials Management Information System
Assists with Contract Supply Changes, establishes location and PAR levels in Materials Management Information System.
Is present during all physical inventory counts.
Performs all duties in a professional and confidential manner, maintaining a good rapport with all hospital personnel, physicians, vendors, patients and visitors.
Communicates any outstanding inventory issues to Resource Agent, Department Managers and Director.
Works closely with receiving to facilitate the delivery of OR orders

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalency (required)
Previous hospital inventory experience preferred,
Familiarity with PAR levels highly desired,
Prior use of automated supply systems.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required
