Who We Are

We are an architectural design studio located in North County San Diego that specializes in design-forward custom homes and residential properties.

The office is growing and we're looking to hire someone who can draft permit and construction documents, as well as assist in various project management tasks.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop building permit plans using revit
• Develop revit families
• Develop project renderings using lumion
• Develop construction documents

Secondary Responsibilities

• Visit job sites to take measurements and document existing conditions.
• Analyze building code, bylaws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of how to develop plans for permits.
• Strong understanding of reading and understanding construction documents.
• Proficient in building Revit models.
• Proficient in rendering using Lumion.
• Knowledge of how to develop construction documents.
• Knowledge of building codes/regulations and the ability to research codes in various locations.
• Knowledge of building assemblies, techniques, and construction.
• Ability to read and interpret various consultant documents including survey documents, civil engineering plans, structural drawings, title 24 calculations, and landscape plans.
• Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of Adobe (Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop), Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets).
• Interest in contemporary architectural design.

Experience

• Bachelor's Degree
• 35 years of experience in single family residential projects
• Effective communication
• Production of work in timely manner
• Must have drivers license

All work to be remote at this time.
