As a Financial Operations Associate at Río Grande, PR: you will be responsible for handling all financial inquiries from our customers. You will gather their concerns and work diligently to find suitable solutions. Your role will involve continuous communication with customers, locations, and internal teams to ensure efficient and satisfactory processing.


Responsibilities:

  • Processing customer and vendor inquiries via phone and email regarding invoices, payments, and services.
  • Reviewing incoming invoices for accuracy.
  • Creating and sending invoices to customers.
  • Conducting payment transactions.
  • Assisting with monthly financial statements.
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with adhoc requests and projects.
  • Taking on additional accounting tasks such as recording receipts, preparing accounting documents, reconciling open items, and managing collections.

Qualifications:

  • We are looking for candidates with a completed education in a commercial field, a degree, or training in the hotel and tourism industry.
  • Ideally, you have 23 years of relevant work experience or have completed internships in accounting, bookkeeping, or the hotel industry.
  • You are a multitasking expert with a strong interest in finance and accounting.
  • You have knowledge of Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with DATEV or a similar program is a plus.
  • Dealing with customer contacts and effectively solving problems does not intimidate you.
  • You value team success and enjoy celebrating it.
  • You show initiative and take responsibility for your tasks.
  • You speak German fluently and are confident in using the English language
