    Job Description Summary
    The Europe Regional Compensation & Benefits Leader has oversight of GE Vernova compensation, benefits and pension programs across GE Vernova populations located in the European countries, including the UK and Ireland.

    The Europe Regional Compensation & Benefits Leader should build and maintain relationships with the GE Vernova Country HR Councils, and National and Regional HRMs, and other members of the GE Vernova Total Rewards team. In addition, the Europe Regional Compensation & Benefits Leader should build and maintain relationships with colleagues in key functions within GE Vernova such as Finance, Legal, Tax, Sourcing and People Operations. The individual must have a proven track record of creating and managing stakeholders, including internal and external fiduciaries, regulators, vendors, and social partner representatives.

    The Europe Regional Compensation & Benefits Leader will work within the International Total Rewards Team to identify and implement objectives which deliver against the wider GE Vernova Total Rewards strategy. They will also be expected to deliver results on ad-hoc and time-sensitive projects in key areas such as M&A, Business Restructurings, HR/Business initiatives, and financial analysis.

    The Europe Regional Compensation & Benefits Leader will be expected to learn and adopt a LEAN mindset to their work, actively seeking opportunities to engage with GE Vernova colleagues to optimize processes and drive efficiency at all times. This will especially focus on ensuring critical path items are met, and repetitive/manual tasks are reduced or automated. The Europe Regional Compensation & Benefits Leader will create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all areas within their remit.

    The Europe Regional Compensation & Benefits Leader will be required to adopt the highest standard in governance, ensuring all programs in remit are always fully compliant and that any issues requiring intervention are identified and managed in good time.

    The Europe Regional Compensation & Benefits Leader will be expected to be ready to take on one-off global initiatives responsibilities as needed and deemed critical for the business.

    These responsibilities could include (but not be limited to):

    Total Rewards, HR, and GE Vernova Strategic Initiatives
    Vendor Management (including payment and on-boarding), Sourcing
    M&A, Share programs, Market Intelligence
    LEAN, Standard Operating Procedures and HR Technology

    Job Description

    Essential Functions/Responsibilities for geographical remit

    :

    Providing expertise and strategic advice through partnership with business leaders, HRMs, Total Rewards colleagues and plan stakeholders on key pension and C&B

    strategies
    Designing and implementing new pension , compensation & benefit programs to meet business needs
    Identify opportunities to review existing pension and C&B programs
    Identification, engagement and management of appropriate key external vendors leading negotiations for new contracts, renewals and required reviews/addendums including internal approvals/signatories
    Continuously researching and contributing to market data and industry trends within pension and Compensation & Benefits to ensure accurate and up to date benchmark data is available
    Ensuring all programs in remit are fully compliant with relevant legislation at all times
    Managing company's participation in market Compensation & Benefits surveys/benchmarking analysis.
    Support due diligence analysis for M&A deals, and lead post acquisition integration or post disposal separation of retirement and benefit plans
    Education of broader HR community , via HR Councils, Total Rewards colleagues and other COEs, on any and all relevant pension and benefit programs
    Drive pension and benefit governance in country, in conjunction with global Total Rewards team and HR and business stakeholders
    Leading or participating in global Total Rewards initiatives and project management
    Qualifications/Requirements

    Substantial experience in managing all aspects of pension and total rewards programs in most European countries. Experience in German and UK country is a must.
    Demonstrable experience in leading significant change programs
    Proven ability to contribute to the creation, maintenance and delivery of a Total Rewards strategy in support of business needs, whilst operating in a challenging environment
    Strong influencing skills with the ability to operate effectively within a matrix environment
    Proven organizational skills, attention to detail and solid quantitative and analytical background
    Excellent interpersonal, consulting, written and verbal communication skills in business English
    Ability to manage and report key metrics for multiple and conflicting projects, within a specified format and process, and across regions
    Adopts and develops a LEAN mindset in all aspects of the role
    Able to work in an autonomous way; self-motivated, organised
    English, German and Spanish are highly desired.

    Le responsable régional de la rémunération et des avantages sociaux en Europe devra être prêt à assumer des responsabilités ponctuelles dans le cadre d'initiatives mondiales si cela est nécessaire et jugé essentiel pour l'entreprise. Ces responsabilités pourraient inclure (sans toutefois s'y limiter) :

    Total Rewards, RH et initiatives stratégiques de GE Vernova
    Gestion des fournisseurs (y compris le paiement et l'intégration), approvisionnement
    Fusions et acquisitions, programmes d'actions, intelligence du marché
    LEAN, procédures opérationnelles standard et technologie RH
    Fonctions/responsabilités essentielles liées au mandat géographique :

    Fournir une expertise et des conseils stratégiques par le biais de partenariats avec les chefs d'entreprise, les GRH, les collègues de Total Rewards et les parties prenantes du régime sur les principales stratégies en matière de retraite et de C&B

    Identifier les opportunités de revoir les programmes de retraite et de C&B existants
    Identification, engagement et gestion des principaux fournisseurs externes appropriés menant les négociations pour les nouveaux contrats, les renouvellements et les examens/addenda requis, y compris les approbations/signataires internes
    Recherche et contribution continues aux données du marché et aux tendances du secteur en matière de régimes de retraite, de rémunération et d'avantages sociaux afin de garantir la disponibilité de données de référence précises et à jour
    Veiller à ce que tous les programmes concernés soient pleinement conformes à la législation en vigueur à tout moment
    Gérer la participation de l'entreprise aux enquêtes sur la rémunération et les avantages sociaux du marché/aux analyses comparatives.
    Soutenir l'analyse de due diligence pour les opérations de fusions-acquisitions et diriger l'intégration après l'acquisition ou la séparation des régimes de retraite et d'avantages sociaux après la cession
    Éducation de la communauté RH élargie , par le biais des conseils des ressources humaines, des collègues de Total Rewards et d'autres COE, sur tous les programmes de retraite et d'avantages sociaux pertinents
    Favoriser la gouvernance des régimes de retraite et des avantages sociaux dans le pays, en collaboration avec l'équipe mondiale de Total Rewards et les parties prenantes des ressources humaines et commerciales
    Diriger ou participer à des initiatives mondiales de Total Rewards et à la gestion de projets
    Qualifications/Exigences

    Solide expérience dans la gestion de tous les aspects des programmes de retraite et de rémunération globale (minimum 8 ans) dans la plupart des pays européens. Une expérience en Allemagne et au Royaume-Uni est indispensable.
    Expérience démontrable dans la direction de programmes de changement importants
    Aptitude avérée à contribuer à la création, à la maintenance et à la mise en œuvre d'une stratégie Total Rewards répondant aux besoins de l'entreprise, tout en opérant dans un environnement difficile
    Solides compétences d'influence avec la capacité de fonctionner efficacement dans un environnement matriciel
    Compétences organisationnelles éprouvées, souci du détail et solide expérience quantitative et analytique
    Excellentes compétences en relations interpersonnelles, en consultation, en communication écrite et verbale en anglais des affaires
    Capacité à gérer et à communiquer des indicateurs clés pour des projets multiples et conflictuels, dans un format et un processus spécifiques, et dans toutes les régions
    Adopte et développe un état d'esprit LEAN dans tous les aspects du rôle
    Capable de travailler de manière autonome ; motivé, organisé
