- Provide field risk engineering to meet underwriting requirements.
- Develop and implement customer service strategies that minimize loss and enhance customer operations.
- Offer engineering support to the underwriting team by participating in client broker meetings.
- Conduct field engineering services as needed, focusing mainly on larger locations or potential prospects within the region.
- Provide advanced property consultation services to customers, including identifying significant loss exposures, investigating major losses, and implementing property management programs.
- Assist in promoting Zurich risk transfer insurance products alongside underwriting professionals and agents in various business segments.
- Risk Engineering Consultant:
- - Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience in Property Risk Engineering
OR - - High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5+ years of experience in Property Risk Engineering
AND - - Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- - Experience working effectively in a team environment
- - Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of experience in Property Risk Engineering

Zurich's Risk Engineering Property South-West Team is looking for a Property Loss Control Field Risk Engineering Consultant with expertise in large highly protected risk (HPR) properties. This position allows you to work from home and is ideally suited for individuals in Colorado or Arizona. You'll also be provided with a company car for your use, with an expected 25-30% overnight travel.
Our Property Field Risk Engineering Consultant responsibilities include:
Final candidates will undergo a Motor Vehicle Record background check as this role includes the use of a company car.
The position will be filled at either the Risk Engineering Consultant or Senior Risk Engineering Consultant level. The hiring manager will assess the appropriate level based on the selected applicant's experience and skills in relation to the qualifications outlined for this role.

Compensation for roles at Zurich varies based on factors such as office location, role, skills, and experience level. Zurich provides a reasonable compensation range for roles as per local regulations. Candidates with salary expectations outside the range are welcome to apply, and decisions will be made considering experience, skills, and education. The salary range provided is nationwide, without adjustments for geographic differentials. The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $157,000, with the Risk Engineering Consultant starting at $72,000 - $119,200 and the Senior Risk Engineering Consultant at $96,000 - $157,700.
