Ds Smith has an immediate need for a maintenance lube technician for our Lebanon, Indiana facility. We are a corrugated manufacturing facility.

Pay:
$22

Hours: 7:00AM- 3:00PM

Benefits Eligibility starts Day 1 (medical, dental, vision)

Vacation: 2 weeks (prorated based on time of hire) 3 Diversity days

Resolve machine breakdown issues with mínimal impact to production.
Enter work orders for items discovered that needed to be repaired.
Carry out regular maintenance, process improvements, and project activates to ensure equipment breakdown delay is minimized, process capability is maximized, and production, quality performance targets are met.
Complete all planned maintenance activities within the specified time frame of the PM schedule.
Ensure that all work is carried out accurately, to high standard and within agreed timescales.
Exercises effective decision making with respect to the cost of repairs.
Research more cost effective and efficient ways of repairing and maintaining machinery.
Communicate directly with operations team to develop a team approach to maintaining company assets.
Be proactive in personal development in technical skills and knowledge required for the role and be aware of changes in engineering best practice.

Required education and Experience:

Must have obtained an associate degree in a relevant technical field or military technical training and 5 years of experience or High school Diploma and 7 years relevant work experience in a Corrugated manufacturing environment.
Corrugator or Converting Manufacturing Process experience (preferred)
Must have Mechanical, Electrical and automation knowledge.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this position and to safety regulations.
Must good communication skills, able to work in a systematic and rigorous way.
