Outreach Liaison - Portland, United States - Modivcare
Description
This position is responsible for facilitating a close working relationship between Modivcare, transportation providers, and facilities through visits, outreach, education, training, and real-time trip observations, performs field investigations, including, but not limited to, transportation provider vehicle inspections, compliance risk assessments, and contract adherence.
This position partners with the appropriate teams in identifying risks, challenges, and resolutions.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and maintains ongoing relationships with transportation providers and facilities through face
- face meetings, phone/video calls, and group presentations.
- Performs scheduled and random visits to transportation providers to verify provider's adherence to contract standards for drivers and vehicles.
- Performs scheduled and random visits to medical facilities to provide outreach, training, and education.
- Conducts contractually required vehicle inspections, annually and as necessary.
- Maintains appropriate certifications to train transportation providers on PASS training and wheelchair securement.
- Provides oversight of driver and attendants participation in and compliance with Modivcare's prescribed training curriculum as outlined in the Safe Driver Program.
- Supports transportation network digitization, facility adoption, and use of Tripcare platform/App use and other market specific projects.
- Collaborates with appropriate teams to resolve issues and provide follow up to transportation providers and facilities.
- Promotes company programs with transportation providers, healthcare facilities, and case workers.
- Supports company initiatives and projects related to network and facility outreach.
- 80% business travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of Medicaid guidelines and Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, communication skills and ability to deliver clear, effective and engaging oral presentations to a public audience.
- Must be able to effectively build relationships with customers and coworkers, work independently and as a team member.
- Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to develop and implement action plans to address issues.
- Must have a valid and current driver's license with a clean driving record, and use handsfree mobile phone.
- Must be flexible to work various days/hours depending on operational needs.
- Must be willing and able to travel within assigned regions.
- Able to obtain CTAA and NSC and/or other certifications, if necessary.
- Knowledge of Salesforce is desired.
Pay:
$ $25.40 per hour

- Social work: 2 years (preferred)
