Hablemos Inc. is searching for for a Bilingual (Spanish-English) Toddler Educator / Early Intervention Specialist to provide small group specialized services to littles (24mo

• 35mo) with developmental differences, in San Ysidro.

HABLEMOS MISSION STATEMENT:
Our goal is to increase little ones' participation, independence, and engagement across settings and activities.

Toddler Educator will be expected to:

• Lead two hour group (3 kiddos) sessions, in a classroom setting.
• Plan and prep activities.
• Set and clean up before and after each session.
• Conduct initial, progress, and final assessments across the five main domains of development: cognitive, physical, selfhelp, socialemotional, and communication.
• Implementing evidencedbased strategies to work towards meeting the outcomes/goals specified in the child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
• Educate parents/caregivers on appropriate and effective methods/activities to support their child's development. evaluations, direct play and routinesbased early intervention, and parent coaching.
• Write detailed initial, progress, and discharge reports.
• Log attendance and documenting data regarding session outcomes.
• Maintain client confidentiality, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Collaborate with other specialists in child's IFSP team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in child development, early childhood, or related field.
• Knowledge of five main areas of child development.
• Experience working with young children and families.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Be available to work up to 30 hours.
• Must be able to kneel, crawl, squat, and sit on floor, for extended periods of time.
• Hold a valid CPR certificate
