Maintenance Technician - Washington, United States - Aramark
Description
Responsibilities:
- Secondary POC to client/site occupants, property manager, subcontracted services, vendors
- Assist Maintenance Lead in management of direct reports and/or subcontracted service workers to include/not limited to: maintenance worker(s), day porter(s), A/V tech(s), IT
- Assist Site Lead maintaining overall appearance/operation of facility
- Secondary liaison to building management/security for service calls, systems tests
- Coordinate offhours utilities
- Oversight of daytime porter responsible for light cleaning
- Complete small/medium scope repair/maintenance in client?s premises in accordance with building rules/regulations (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, AV, Signage, IT).
- Coordinate large scope repair/maintenance
- Coordinate postevent site maintenance
- Coordinate vendor access
- Control of execution of work, followup for quality assurance
- Assist with requisition of office/facility supplies supporting operations
- Assist with all Domestic/International, special shipping/receiving needs.
- Support VIP meeting, visit, other requests as directed.
- Support all other adhoc requests as directed.
- Assist with the Coordination of Events
Qualifications:
- Min. 5 yrs. experience as Maint. Tech., Lead Mech., Maint. Sup., or equivalent
- Interpersonal/communication/customer service skills required
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, technical manuals.
- Demonstrated ability to learn maintenance skills.
- Ability to complete small/medium scope repair/maintenance activities.
- Skills in using predictive maintenance techniques, root cause analysis of equipment failures.
- Ability to gather data, information, prepare reports.
- Ability to provide technical guidance to nontechnical/production operators.
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to work second/third shift, holidays, weekends as required.
- Must be able to perform maintenance tasks including: climb ladders, work in confined spaces, stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., etc.
