Description

Overview:

is seeking an Army Subject Matter Expert (SME)** to work in the Pentagon, 3-4 days a week, with our current team in support of the Department of Army G3 (DAG3) development of the latest Force Generation, Modernization and Readiness policy, process, and automation.

What you will do:

Operate within existing Army processes, using current IT solutions, to develop products in support of the client's Modernization, Readiness, and Force Generation initiatives;
Externally Forwardfacing individual possessing experience integrating quickly and efficiently with external Army entities to coordinate with our internal technical teams

Support customer needs as requested
Able to work independently and selfidentify tasks
Strong writing skills
Ability to research and evaluate new concepts and processes to improve performance

What you need to have:
-
Clearance: able to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance:

Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience, or;
Associates Degree and 12+ years of experience, or;
Master's Degree and 8+ years of experience, or;
PhD and 5+ years of experience, or;

- (in lieu of Bachelor's degree, 14+ years of relevant experience)

Strong Army or other military branch functional knowledge
Strong understanding of Army (or other military branch) process (specifically Readiness, Force Structure, Equipment, and/or Personnel) and/or systems.
Operations, planning, training/resources experience
Ability to translate functional needs to other team members
Strong Communications Skills

What we'd like you to have:

**Recent, relevant military experience (Army preferred) in Force Management, Readiness, or Strategy;**:
Experience working on/with an Army Command staff (HQDA, FORSCOM, TRADOC, AMC, AFC).
