SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:

ANSER is seeking a Management Analyst to support the China Brief Action Group. This position is located in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy (OUSD(P)).

The China Brief Action Group will provide administrative and logístical support to the Secretary of Defense China Brief and its supporting fora - the China Brief Executive Council (CBEC) and the China Brief Management Group (CBMG).

In support of China Brief Action Group, specific tasks include:

  • Managing the China Brief Calendar
  • Tracking SecDef tasks related to the China Brief
  • Meeting support for the CBEC and CBMG (Small & Large Group)
  • Booking conference rooms
  • SVTC tech support to connect outstations
  • Tracking and managing RSVPs & attendance
  • Coordinating agendas, readaheads, and meeting minutes
  • SharePoint site maintenance access and calendar
  • Capturing, coordinating, and disseminating meeting summary of conclusions
  • Using tools and portals that link and integrate authoritative data sources for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on senior decision making.
  • Stakeholder coordination with/between USDP, DJS, JSJ5, and ASD(IPSA)
  • General support to SecDef, USDP, and ASD(IPSA) premeeting prep sessions

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:


Required:

  • TS/SCI clearance required at date of hire
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • 25 years Pentagon experience at the OSD, Joint Staff, or Service level.

Preferred:

  • Experience with DoD governance forums, meeting management and execution, and senior leader stakeholder engagement.
  • Professionalism, tact, and experience working with senior DoD leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Energetic and the capability to work in a fastpaced team environment, adapt to rapidly changing requirements, and multitask capabilities.
  • Ability to produce quality work independently or in a group setting, provide solutions to customer issues, and solve problems quickly.
  • High level of proficiency of the English language, both written and oral.
