The Opportunity
This role is responsible for partnering with key stakeholders to define divisional learning and capability needs.
You will be establishing effective solutions in addition to implementing global frameworks and initiatives that support embedding a high-performance culture.
Primary Responsibilities- Assess learning and capability needs for the division and contribute to the enterprise view.
- Establish, communicate and implement learning initiatives tied to divisional strategic goals and in line with learning plans and budgets
- Design learning solutions that respond to the business needs of the customer and are effectively designed within agreed methodologies and quality control standards.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness against learning plans using agreed methods and frameworks
- Establish and maintain excellent collaborative working relationships within the Talent and People team, Divisional customer group and external vendors
- Support the embedding of a high performance, growth mindset culture (DNA) through talent programs and activities
- Enhance the employee experience by creating engaging and accessible learning solutions
- Source and evaluate learning solution designs from external vendors, develop recommendations and participate in the decisionmaking process
- Utilize data to identify best practices and integrate them into current learning programs to benefit enterprise & divisional customers
- Contribute to the professional development (program design, program delivery and consulting skills) of other team members through coaching and mentoring
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 8 years relevant experience
- Strong technical learning capabilities, including learning measurement and course evaluation and assessment, and competency frameworks
- Innovation mindset, flexibility and adaptability
- Strong customer service skills and service orientation
- Highly developed internal consulting, change management and project management skills
- Excellent visual written and verbal communication skills
- Commercial and financial acumen, including ability to design to budget
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders with competing needs and demands
- Agile in developing solutions that respect local/global differences
- Large and small group learning and workshop facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes in multiple locations, cultural context and languages
- Experienced in learning role in global and complex organization
- Experienced in supporting learning delivery and/or broader HR processes
- Experience in evaluating project/program outcomes, interpreting results and understanding their implication/impact on organizational performance
- Association for Talent Development (ATD) certification(s)
- Human Resources Certificate Institute certification(s)
- Learning and developmentrelated designation
- Insurance industry designation
- Strong knowledge of delivery of Learning and/or Human Resources function
- Knowledge of learning processes and supporting administrative functions
- Familiar with learning frameworks, models and their use in underpinning business strategies
- Extensive knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design theory, techniques and trends
- In depth understanding of Enterprise and Divisional strategic direction and priorities
- Understanding of business consulting methods
- Knowledge of relevant trends and information within the industry
