Hill International is seeking a Scheduler in Los Angeles, California

  • Reviews and analyzes contractor's schedules for contract compliance, writes and reviews comments, updates staff on contractor's performance, and evaluates time impacts
  • Develop and maintain detailed construction planning schedules for new construction and renovation work, as required
  • Develop and analyze manhour resources, equipment resources and cost loaded, time phased schedules
  • Prepare detailed plans and time scaled charts and diagrams
  • Monitor project progress against an established baseline
  • Provide impact analysis of schedule changes, identify schedule variances and opportunities and proactively develop mitigation strategies for the Project Management team
  • Maintain simplified logic schedules to highlight status of key interfaces for critical path review
  • Provide progress reporting documents and briefing materials as required. Develop creative reporting tools to communicate complex project sequencing and/or progress assessments
  • 310 years of scheduling experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field is preferred.
  • Relevant Professional Licensure & Certifications are stronglypreferred
  • Requires intermediate use of Oracle Primavera Software, along with related software tools such as Schedule Analyzer, Microsoft Project, Claims Digger, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience completing forensic schedule analyses of the design and construction of largescale, complex heavy civil, vertical and horizontal projects, particularly for assessment of delay claims and potential owner's liabilities
  • Demonstrated experience scheduling for multiple concurrent and interrelated projects
  • Demonstrated experience in probabilistic scheduling and project/program schedule risk analysis
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical and schedule related information in oral and written form to nonexpert audiences
  • Handson experience with creating dashboards and graphic reports for program/projects progress and performance
  • Prior experience in aviation and large transportation projects, is highly desirable
  • Proven accuracy, reliability, and completeness in job accomplishment
The salary range for this position is $80,000-$115,000. The offered salary will be based on the applicants qualifications, education, experience and work location.
