We are looking for a dedicated individual to support the County Development team through independent work on spatial concepts and statements, as well as the implementation of measures and projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Participation and representation of the interests of Viersen County in thirdparty planning at various spatial levels (e.g. supraregional development strategies, concepts and plans, and supraregional transport, infrastructure, and mobility projects)
  • Independent coordination and implementation of sustainable mobility and cycling measures and projects in Viersen County, including acquisition and management of funding and procurement processes
  • Preparation of statements for (supra)regional bodies (e.g. Regional Council Düsseldorf, euregio rhinemaasnorth, Metropolregion Rheinland e.
V., Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr)

  • Interdisciplinary collaboration and coordination of projects within the county administration, with municipalities within the county, and other stakeholders and target groups in the county and region
  • Preparation of analyses, concepts, and structural studies, as well as independent implementation of existing concepts and measures in the entire field of work of the County Development division (project work)

Qualifications

  • Completed university degree (diploma, bachelor, or master) in traffic science, spatial planning, urban/reg
