- Must be a registered professional engineer (PE)
- Bachelor's degree required in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical engineering
- Physical ability to travel to the field to monitor and troubleshoot equipment
- Stand for extended periods of time during manufacturing and field support roles
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with +12 years of experience in the design of complex, engineered-to-order, mechanical systems
- Proficient user of mathematical worksheet software (e.g. Excel, Mathcad)
- Advanced working knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD
- Understanding of Finite Element Analysis software
- Experience in oilfield engineering
- Design experience
- People management skills
- Experience with bespoke engineered-to-order projects
- FEA analysis knowledge
- Provide oversight and direction directly to staff engineers and designers
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of engineering deliverables
- Monitor production estimates and work with teams to ensure reasonable delivery timelines are met
- Ensure design, engineering, testing protocols meet customer specifications & quality expectations
- Responsible for technical support required for internal or remote manufacturing
- Improve engineering systems, processes & policies continuously
- Act as point-of-contact for queries with auditors & participate in financial planning
- Engage in troubleshooting, technical support & customer service after sales
- Willingness to travel for customer support when needed
- Collaborate on design & development initiatives for market needs & cost reduction.
