Caris is an apolitical faith based nonprofit pregnancy counseling organization, and a beacon of light in the Chicagoland region.
Our mission is to see women and children thrive during and after unplanned pregnancy.

We provide professional counseling to address any number of pregnancy-related issues, and we also connect women to valuable resources and to various communities of support.

All services are donor supported and as a result, are FREE to the women and families that we serve.


OPPORTUNITY SUMMARY
The Part-Time Marketer will join and align with Caris, a faith-based organization with Christ-centered principles.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in marketing & project management, and digital marketing in the nonprofit sector.

RESPONSIBILITIIES

• Monitor and respond to audience comments, messages, and inquiries.
• Support internal teams: admin, client services, operations and outreach.
• Collaborate and monitor external marketing teams: web designer, digital marketing team, etc. Assist in the creation, content and editing of video/stories.
• Research and stay up to date on industry trends to enhance our social media strategy.
• Provide support in analyzing social media performance using analytics tools.
• Produce marketing materials: premiums, collateral, job descriptions, newsletters, enews, client stories.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Graphic Design via Canva
• Copywriting, Copyediting, "Eagles Eye"
• Project Management Skills
• Video content capture & (min) editing.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.

HOURS, PAY & BENEFITS
- $30 Hour

• PTO, Paid Time Off
• 16 Hours Per Week Total

8 Hours on Tuesday, In-Office

8 Hours on Thursday's, In-Office (mandatory)
