- Promotion of patient safety and quality of care in partnership with the Medical Director
- Fostering professional development of division members
- Recruitment and retention of skilled staff
- Supporting medical education and research efforts
- Being a spokesperson for child and adolescent psychiatry, building relationships, advocating for improvements, and seeking external support
- Accountable for fiscal management and operational effectiveness
- Emphasis on patient satisfaction and family-centric care
- Participation in departmental and medical staff meetings
- Leadership in patient satisfaction, safety initiatives, and risk management
